Ever since the inception of the monetary system, the
penny has played a significant role. The only thing that
has ever changed over the past 100 years is the true
value of the penny. Or has it? The penney is still a
penny no matter how you spell it. One penny plus two
pennies is still equal to three pennies. One penny plus
one penny is still a 100% profit to those who invest
in penny stocks.
The real question, "Is investing
in penney stocks for you?" What is a penney stock?
The SEC considers "penney stocks" any company
trading below $5.00 to a fraction of a penny.

(ZUPC), speciliazes in wholesale ., operates as a facilities-based wholesaler of international voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) traffic within the carrier to carrier network primarily in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. It acts as a traffic exchange between telecommunication carriers. The company also provides prepaid calling card with Spanish language support principally in Latin America. Trading near its 52 week low. There are 80 million in the OS and the stock moves up and down on very little volume. That tells us the float is rather small.
The true intrinsic value in
buying penny stocks is the potential to possibly make
a tremendous profit on very little investment.
The other side of the coin,
investing in penney stocks are extremely speculative
in nature as far as a sound investment. You can not use
technical analysis to base your decision nor can you
use the company's balance sheet to determine if it is
the right investment for you.
Most penny stock's price is
no indication as to the true value of the company. Most
of the penny stocks are developmental stages companies
or companies that have been overlooked by the investment
community for one reason or another.
